Training, communications, and the Citizen’s Information Line
A progress update on the tools now available and the next improvements being built.
A connected communications workflow
The Call Center now supports recording a call, resolving an issue immediately, or forwarding it into Contact Center. Operators can select an eligible person or routing group, or leave a handoff unassigned for triage. Dedicated roles separate operator, manager, and read-only reference access. Telephone-system integration remains future work.
Learning and assessment tools
Training work now includes class registration and history, assessment imports and direct question editing, student previews, study guides and pre-assessments with immediate feedback, and retained completion and certificate workflows. Learning resources remain separate from answer keys. These tools use the existing permission and training-record relationships.
Clearer correspondence and stronger file handling
Contact Center correspondence uses an email-style presentation, notifications link back to their workspaces, and shared modal backdrops help keep attention on the current task. Production file screening uses ClamAV. The public shelter destination is available through the shared footer.
Course discovery and safer contact handoffs
This release expands the course library to all 56 Region 7 courses, adds personal status and card/list choices, aligns public navigation, and introduces an Accessibility statement. CEMP reviewers can change a submission contact with explicit email confirmation and a retained audit trail. Shared phone formatting, aligned form fields, readable profile text, and a telephone icon for Call Center complete the interface corrections. Telephone integration and the Blue Skies roadmap remain future work.
Keeping this Journal current
Every release must now include a Journal review covering changes, fixes, and upcoming work. Confirmed launch records use verified deployment times and commits; planned and local work remain labeled separately.
